5.5-magnitude earthquake hits Nepal

A direct force tremor measuring 5.5 on the Richter Scale shook Nepal in the early hours today.

As indicated by the National Center for Seismology, a unit of Ministry of Earth Sciences, the shake happened at 5:05 am at a profundity of 10 km.

The epicenter was situated at Solukhumbu locale close to the Everest district, around 150 km east of Kathmandu, Nepal's National Seismological Center said. It recorded the power of the tremor at 5.6.

This was the 475th consequential convulsion, of extent 4 or more, of the staggering April 2015 earthquake in the shudder inclined Himalayan nation.

There was no quick report of any harm or setback.

The seismic tremor was additionally felt in Kathmandu and different parts of focal and Eastern Nepal.
