Monarchy Will Come Back Nepal

Prajatantra Party and Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal on Monday announced their unification and declared that the new party would lead a movement to have Nepal’s Hindu status restored in the constitution. The unified party will leave the issue of whether to back the restoration of the constitutional monarchy or accept republic Nepal to the delegate session that will take place soon. “Let there be no confusion in anyone’s mind. We will take the decision on monarchy-versus-republicanism when our national conference takes place,” said Kamal Thapa, chairman of the party.
